To ensure the ongoing safety of our employees, members of public and our clients, health and safety audits and inspections are undertaken throughout the construction phase along with continued development of on site health and safety files.
Our health and safety advisors assist in maintaining our high standard of health and safety by reviewing and developing our policies and procedures; undertaking internal audits of our site operations and chairing regular health and safety strategy meetings.
Prior to commencement of works on site, all employees including sub contractors receive an appropriate health, safety and environmental induction before commencing works on site. All site operatives hold relevant CSCS accreditations along with task specific training. Members of our approved contractors list have gone through a stringent approval process during which the above points are demonstrated prior to their inclusion.
With these procedures in place Smart DB continues to complete cost efficient projects to the highest quality whilst ensuring safety is also prioritized throughout both the design and build stages.
